By using Anchora, you agree to these terms. Anchora is a free tool provided by Anchora LLC, a Massachusetts limited liability company ("Anchora LLC," "we," "us"). If you do not agree, please do not use Anchora.
No patient health information (PHI)
Anchora is not a HIPAA-covered system and must not be used to store, transmit, or process protected health information. You agree that you will not enter any patient names, patient contact information, diagnoses, treatment details, or any other information that identifies or could identify a specific patient or individual. Anchora is intended solely for storing and sharing general community resources (organizations, programs, phone numbers, and services). You are solely responsible for ensuring your use of Anchora complies with HIPAA and all applicable privacy laws and your employer's policies. We are not responsible for any information you choose to enter in violation of these terms.
Resources are provided "as is" — verify before relying on them
Anchora is a directory of community resources, some contributed by users. Information may be incomplete, outdated, or inaccurate — phone numbers may be disconnected, programs may have changed or closed. You must independently verify any resource before relying on it or providing it to a patient or client. Anchora does not guarantee the accuracy, availability, or suitability of any resource and is not responsible for decisions made based on information found here.
Your responsibilities
You agree to use Anchora lawfully and professionally, to not enter PHI or unlawful content, to not misuse or attempt to disrupt the service, and to keep your account credentials secure. You are responsible for content you add or share.
Limitation of liability
Anchora is provided free of charge, "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any damages arising from your use of Anchora, including reliance on any resource, service interruptions, or any information you or others enter into the tool.
Changes
We may update these terms or the service at any time. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles.
